Chickencam's Chocolate Orange Cake

- 112g self raising flour
- 12.5g cocoa powder
- 1 level teaspoon baking powder
- 100g soft margarine
- 75g caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 2 eggs beaten
- 50g plain chocolate grated - the grating took a while it would have been easier with thick chocolate.
grated rind and juice of one orange

- Heat oven to 325 F 160 C gas mark 3
- Grease and line a 7 inch round tin
- Beat all ingredients together for about 2 minutes until thoroughly blended
- Turn into tin and bake until cake is well risen and has shrunk from the sides of the tin, about 45 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack.
