Kate's Egg and Bacon Pie

[edit] Ingredients
- Shortcrust pastry case made with 6oz flour, 3 oz butter and 3 tbsp water
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 3-4 rashers of smoked bacon, chopped and fried gently until cooked
- 1/4 pint milk
- pinch mustard powder
- salt and pepper
- Optional - chopped chives are nice in it too
[edit] Method
- Fry bacon gently till cooked.
- Make pastry and line tin
- Put the bacon in the base of the uncooked pastry case.
- Beat the eggs with the milk, mustard powder, seasoning and chopped chives if used.
- Pour into pastry case.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180C.
